The Pen Quiz

Had a brilliant evening at the PEN quiz courtesy of my lovely publisher Suzanne Baboneau. A large room full of publishers, writers and journalists, it felt frankly like the most competitive place on earth, but that didn’t help when it came to questions like, Who was the second Mayor of Casterbridge? Who was the last British prime Minister never to fly in a plane? and which decimal coin was introduced in 1849?
